The Panorama Annual Care Cycle
A great lawn isn't made in a day; it’s managed through the seasons. Here is how we keep your property looking its best from the first thaw to the first snow.

Spring: The "Awakening" Phase (March – May)
-
March: Spring Cleanup. Removal of winter debris, sticks, and leaves.
-
April: First Mowing & Pre-Emergent. We apply crabgrass preventer and a high-nitrogen fertilizer to jumpstart the green-up.
-
May: Weed Control & Edging. Broadleaf weed control begins as temperatures rise. We establish deep "V-edges" in all mulch beds.
Summer: The "Performance" Phase (June – August)
-
June: Grub Prevention. Applying a preventative barrier to stop beetle larvae from destroying roots.
-
July: Height Adjustment. We raise mower blades to 3.5–4 inches to shade the soil and protect the roots from the Illinois summer heat.
-
August: Targeted Spot Treatment. Continuing to manage stubborn mid-summer weeds while monitoring for drought stress.
Fall: The "Recovery" Phase (September – November)
-
September: Aeration & Overseeding. The most important month! We pull cores to relieve soil compaction and plant fresh seed for a thicker lawn.
-
October: Winterizer Fertilizer. A specialized formula to strengthen roots for the freezing months ahead.
-
November: Final Leaf Cleanup. Clearing the turf one last time to prevent "snow mold" and ensure the grass can breathe during dormancy.
