  • Front Yards: Strictly limited to 3 feet in height and must be an "open" design (like picket or split-rail) to maintain neighborhood visibility.

• The "Finished Side" Rule: In accordance with Village standards, the "good" side of the fence must face outward (toward the street or neighboring properties).

• Easement Sensitivity: Many Hampshire lots have significant utility or drainage easements. We use your Plat of Survey to ensure your fence doesn't block water flow or interfere with underground services.

• Frost-Proof Post Depth: To withstand the high winds of the Kane County prairies, we sink all fence posts to a minimum of 36 to 42 inches to reach below the frost line.
